We are celebrating our 25th anniversary as the world's oldest and largest sororal organization of transgender women. Founded in 1996, The Vanity Club started as a virtual organization focused on being a haven of mutual support for transgender women to safely and freely express themselves. Today, the Vanity Club has hundreds of active members all over the United States and in thirteen countries.

The Vanity Club looks for opportunities to change people's perception of transgender individuals through positive, direct interaction with our members and to promote socialization and acceptance of transgender women into mainstream society. Along with portraying a positive image, many members unselfishly volunteer time and resources to help those less fortunate in our communities. Finally, we look to inspire others and provide hope and friendship to those who are in difficult situations and may not have the freedom to be their true selves.
