"The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another" - Serena Williams
A true leader is a selfless soul,
One who thinks not of herself,
But for the others, for the many
For the halves and for the whole, of humanity.
Leaders put the needs of others first and inspire people to perform their best. They have an unselfish mindset--encouraging diversity of thought and creating a culture of trust. Leaders display courage not because they are absent of fear, but because they realize there are more important things than the fear they may have.
The Vanity Club encourages its members to reach beyond their comfort zones and become leaders in their communities. They strive to present a positive image of the transgender community through our actions, accomplishments and service to others. Members are humbled by the fact that we not only represent ourselves, not only our club, but the entire transgender community. Members seek out opportunities to mentor, encourage and educate those who are taking their first steps along their journey and and inspire others to step up in a safe and caring environment.
Personal Testimony from Members
I joined Vanity Club in a time of great personal upheaval. I'd lost my marriage and home because i was "a crossdresser." The VC sisters were there to help me get back on my feet and, eventually, helped me to my goal of transition in 2014. I can honestly say that if it weren't for certain VC sisters, past and present, that I would no longer be alive.

Someone said "There are friends and there is family and there are friends who become family." The Club has given me the family I never had.
