How out are you?
I am an "out" transgender woman since 2018. I am a successful Realtor and I am active in my local community. I am the Chair of my county's Land Use Appeals Board and President of my House of Worship, Beth Israel. It was not easy for me to transition with concerns about family, work and volunteer work when I was still in my early 60s. With the passing of my late wife in 2017, it opened up the door for me to transition which I did in 2018. In so doing, I became who I always knew that I was without living in the proverbial closet.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I have a mixed bag of hobbies and interests. I love animals and have a Blue-Fronted Amazon Parrot, Carlita, a Bearded Dragon, Fred, and small community fish tank on my kitchen counter and a large goldfish pond in my screened lanai. In addition to the animals, I enjoy jewelry making, playing Mah Jongg, Rummikub (something recent), Model Railroading, and gardening.

What change do you want to make in the world?
Most of my working life was in mass transportation. Even though that is behind me, I know that I left the properties far better than when I found them. The same goes for the non-profit world. To me, that makes all of the difference.
