Enduring Friendships

"A good friend knows all of your best stories. A sister has lived them with you" - Anonymous

A friend is someone you can rely on;
A friend is someone who you can trust;
A friend is someone who you can share your true feelings with;
A friend will do her best to lift your spirits when you are down;
A friend is someone who will be honest with you;
A friend cares for your well-being over any issues that may arise between you two;
A friend inspires us to expand on our ideas;
A friend is someone who we can be ourselves with.

Friendships can enrich your life in many ways. Good friends teach you about yourself and challenge you to be better. They encourage you to keep going when times get tough and celebrate your successes with you. Good friends encourage healthy behaviors, provide emotional support, and build confidence in ourselves.

Friendship is the most important reason many join the Vanity Club. The friends you make within the Vanity Club are deep and meaningful. They encourage healthy behaviors, provide emotional support and help you build confidence in yourself. We shine the greatest when we are in the light of loving and supportive friends.

Someone said "There are friends and there is family and there are friends who become family." The Club has given me the family I never had.

I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for the of friends I've made through Vanity Club who have given me a heart full of joy and let’s face it, friends make life a lot more fun and worth living. True friends like these ladies are there in times of trouble, a sounding board to hear your wonderful ideas, to tell you the truth, to be there in times of celebration, heartbreak and everything in between…VC friends are truly special people in my life.

The Vanity Club gave me the opportunity to meet many wonderful women. I treasure the day I joined.

I joined Vanity Club in a time of great personal upheaval. I'd lost my marriage and home because i was "a crossdresser." The VC sisters were there to help me get back on my feet and, eventually, helped me to my goal of transition in 2014. I can honestly say that if it weren't for certain VC sisters, past and present, that I would no longer be alive.
